We only have 5 days until my due date, and I think I might be going insane... No joke! I finally lost it to Richard and broke down in a pity-party cry- I'm tired of being huge, uncomfortable, and extremely anxious for this baby to come. Not to mention I'm tired of feeling ultra bored and stir crazy! Hopefully having a baby will fix that ;)
We've had some fun things on our plate though as of late.
Two weeks ago we made the plunge and bought a spiffy pick-up truck! We did a lot of research on what we wanted and what not, and ended up with a nice ride in the end. Rich is SO stoked to have a man car back. He's super cute and looks extra manly in it.
Rich has always loved tinkering around with cars and learning new things, so he was not at all bummed when we spent most of the next day after buying the truck cleaning and checking it out (hence the floor jack).
We're super stoked about this new little addition! It will be really nice for us because it can haul all of our possessions each time we move for the next X amount of years. Hooray!
We are super duper blessed to have amazing friends out here from our branch, the Phillips. They have three little kids and we just love spending time with them. We went to our local pumpkin patch and corn maze and loved it!

We went at the perfect time too... Right as it started to POUR! Thankfully the people there let us duck in the cashier's booth so we didn't get drenched and the rain only lasted a few minutes before we were clear to go.
Ella LOVES Rich, and he can't hide the fact that he loves that she loves him :)
I'm a nice 38 weeks pregnant here- D day is on its way!
Richard and Joe are two peas from the same pod. They have a lot of fun joking around together and entertaining the rest of us.
We simply LOVE the Phillips family and are SO grateful to have them out here!

I've been craving crafts and fall projects, so these yarn covered cardboard leaves + twine covered letter C have been my projects! I was going to have the leaves (that are so nicely stuffed in that mason jar which you can't see into...) hanging from some twigs that were coming out of the mason jar, but it looked lame, so I resorted to this instead and it works just fine for me! At least my huge ol' candle stick is getting some action after being broken from our move!
Rebecca (the head lady of the Phillips family ;)) threw me a really fun baby shower this last weekend. It was SUPER thoughtful of her and the branch ladies were so generous to us.

We were super blessed with a ton of loot. Rich was even given a present! To explain it, I'll give you a little history:
When we first got here and still only had one car between us, Rebecca was super sweet and volunteered to take me to my doctor's appointments. As they were leaving to pick me up, she told her daughter, Sophie, that they were going to go pick up Jessi and take her to the doctor's. Sophie replied, "And Woody?!" So Rich has officially been given the name Woody from the Phillips fam.
Back to his gift- they got him Woody and Jessie toy figures :) Eventually he might let William play with them... but we'll see, he's sentimentally attached to them ;)
(39 weeks prego here and feeling every day of it!)
Now we're just anxiously awaiting baby's arrival so he can wear all of his cute clothes, snuggle in all of his cozy blankets, and get smothered in love by his two anxious, happy, thrilled, elated parents!
